Who We Are

Here at Malice in Candyland, we aim to provide Pagans with a Wonderland of ways to magickally empower your lives by bringing a little bit of the salty (Malice) and a little bit of the sweet (Candy). At MIC, we encourage you to raise your voice and be part of the community. Thank you for making us your Digital Apothecary.

Our Purpose

◆ Our goal is to empower Pagans who feel spiritually disconnected or alone, by creating resources and a community.
◆ We do our best to help give Indigenous Hispanic and Native American culture a voice in the Pagan community.

What We Do

◆ We make resources in text, video, and audio to suit your preferred learning style. We’re available as a blog, email newsletter, podcast (in audio and video form), and YouTube channel. Moreover, we’re on your favorite social media platform, whether that’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Pinterest. To interact with others in the Candy Community, consider joining our Facebook Group.

◆ Our food and craft tutorials on our blog, YouTube, and social media are never fake or misleading.

Why We Do It

Although Pagan books attempt to be multicultural by including mythology and folk practices from different parts of the world, we don’t see much of a space for people of color or LGBTQ+ people. Since we in minority groups lack the voice, we’ve noticed some dismissal of and insensitivity towards our worldviews. We created a space to discuss spirituality on our terms, and we hope you’ll lend your voices.

Our Values

There are three values we learned growing up as Indigenous people (a Hispanic person and a Native American, respectively).

◆ 1. Learn your cultural traditions and become a living embodiment of your culture, incorporating it into everything you do.

◆ 2. Always be loud and proud about your culture.

◆ 3. Pool your skills and modest resources when your neighbors are in need.

As a result, it’s our duty to be stewards of our culture and make our culture accessible to you.
